Cheesy Queasy

*Disclaimer* This post is in no way a complaint about pregnancy- there will be NO complaining to be had!

I am so thankful that the queasy nausea feeling I am experiencing because it is a reminder that my body is doing what it is supposed to do, and the lil' babe in me is growing..... but it is a little inconvenient at meal time!

Don't ask me why, but when I was at the grocery store the other day I saw that there were lean cuisine meals on sale and figured... ''Humm, the picture look tastey and they aren't expensive... i bet they would be pretty convenient to have on hand if I am running late and need to grab something to take to work - I'll take four!"

Well, I'll be darned - I did take four! And to today I paid for it big time.

Lately, it's the simple foods that stay down. I looked at the Mac & Cheese and thought to myself, "Self, this looks pretty gourmet - I had the mac and cheese at Noodles&Co. and the baby agreed with it. Lets try the Lean Cuisine "

WRONG!

I don't know if it was baby or Mamma - but the Lean Cuisine was a MEAN Cuisine from Hell's Kitchen. And one of the Chef newbies totally screwed up and put molded cheese and soggy noodles together, then drained all the flavor - and after getting yelled at by Chef Ramsey, he tried to revive it with some artificial cheese flavor and milk...... it was pure sin if I ever tasted it.

Hurl*Puke*Barf*Gag*Hurl

Ok, so maybe I went a little overboard with my description - hopefully no offense was taken, especially if you are a fan of Lean Cuisine, and especially especially especially if you are a fan of their mac and cheese. But, it was God's honest truth for me and my experience today - and rather entertaining to talk about :o)

Needless to say, I didn't eat that for lunch. It was in the garbage faster than I could say "garbage." But the ridiculous choice of food does not end there. I know that cheese is not my friend right now, not during this stage of pregnancy with all the queasy quease, but for some reason I choose to then proceed to Einstein Bagels to get a different lunch. Still feeling quite sick, I choose Cheddar Broccoli soup that came with a bagel, and you guessed it -- cream cheese.

Cheese, cheese, and more cheese. Am I crazy! I nearly hurled up cheese 5 minutes ago and now I am in line for more cheese.
Pregnancy must mess with the mind (fact: yesterday, I was completely stumped when asked how to view pictures on a digital camera - I stared at it for 5 minutes and could not even tell the gal what buttom to push so she could view her picture on the camera we used.... and what is crazy, I own the SAME EXACT camera!! memory loss....)

So I was crazy for ordering all the cheesy items today, and I was queasy all day as a result... go figure, it's my own fault!

And here I am, where I have been finding my self lately.... on the couch, pillow and blanket in tow, totally and utterly exhausted and barfy. But I am lovin' the fact that I have a baby in my tummy. Now THAT makes it allllllll worth while.

Yay! Jonathan is home with a movie, cookies, milk, and FLOWERS for meeeeee!! What a sweet surprise - what a Man!
*I am so blessed*
